ISO New England Reports Prices From Capacity Auction

ISO New England released preliminary clearing prices for its Forward Capacity Market (FCA 16) for the 2025-26 term.
The three preliminary clearing prices for FCA 16 are (by zone):
2025-26
SENE: $2.639 kW-month
Rest-of-Pool: $2.591 kW-month
NNE and Maine: $2.531 kW-month
The SENE zone saw a material decrease versus the year-ago 2024-25 auction, while other zonal prices were in line with last year's prices.
Specifically, the year-ago FCA had resulted in the following 2024-25 preliminary clearing prices
2024-25
SENE zone: $3.98 kW-month
Rest-of-Pool: $2.61 kW-month
NNE and Maine zones: $2.48 kW-month
The total value of the capacity market in 2025-2026 will be approximately $1.04 billion (preliminary estimate). Capacity clearing the auction totaled 32,810 MW
