Competitive Generator With 5 GW Portfolio Launching New Retail Supplier

CPV Group LP (Competitive Power Ventures) has formed a new retail energy supplier, CPV Retail Energy LP
CPV Retail Energy LP has applied for, or is in the
process of preparing applications for, licensure as a retail electricity supplier in Pennsylvania,
Maryland, Virginia, and Ohio.
In Ohio, CPV Retail Energy applied to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas
CPV Retail Energy said in its Ohio application that it will be offering electricity products to medium and large commercial
and industrial customers.
CPV Group LP is a partnership majority owned by OPC Energy Ltd.
As previously reported, OPC Energy's business includes private sales of electricity to customers in Israel
CPV has ownership interest in 5,500 MW of clean generation across the United States, and the company’s Asset Management division manages 7,335 MW of generating facilities in nine states
