Pepco-DC Posts June 2022-May 2023 SOS Rates; Mass Market Customers To See SOS Rate Increases Next Winter

Pepco has filed new electric SOS rates with the District of Columbia for the 12-month period beginning June 1, 2022

Updated rates include results from the latest procurement as well as updated bypassable SOS Admin. charges

For Schedule R, Residential customers, Pepco's June to October 2022 Generation charge will be a minimum charge of $1.95 per month and $0.06277 per kWh for usage in excess of 30 kWh, with an Admin. charge of $0.00220 per kWh. For the November 2022 to May 2023 period, the Schedule R Generation charge will be a minimum charge of $2.21 per month $0.07144 per kWh for usage in excess of 30 kWh, with an Admin. charge of $0.00220 per kWh.

For comparison, the current (November 2021-May 2022) Schedule R SOS Generation charge is $1.98 per month and $0.06460 per kWh for usage in excess of 30 kWh with an Admin. charge of $0.00150 per kWh

For Schedule GS - LV - ND customers, Pepco's June to October 2022 Generation charge will be $0.06110 per kWh plus an Admin. charge of $0.00250 per kWh. For the November 2022 to May 2023 period the Schedule GS - LV - ND Generation charge will be $0.06854 per kWh plus an Admin. charge of $0.00250 per kWh

For comparison, the current (November 2021-May 2022) Schedule GS - LV - ND SOS Generation charge is $0.06198 per kWh with an Admin. charge of $0.00350 per kWh
