Affiliate Of Retail Supplier Discloses New Competitive Affiliate

Lone Star Transmission, LLC, a unit of NextEra Energy, informed the Texas PUC that the following is now a competitive affiliate of Lone Star: Sighten, Inc.
NextEra Energy, Inc. did not respond to an inquiry to its media relations department concerning Sighten by publication time
Neither Lone Star Transmission's filing, nor a posting on its website concerning new affiliates, provided further information concerning the entity Sighten, Inc.
As such, EnergyChoiceMatters.com is unable to confirm that the Sighten, Inc. listed in Lone Star's filing is the same Sighten, Inc. which provides software and other solutions for solar installers, channel managers, and financiers
Nor can EnergyChoiceMatters.com determine what has prompted Sighten to now be designated a competitive affiliate of Lone Star. Potential possibilities for such new designation include a potential equity investment and/or other similar potential transactions by NextEra, though EnergyChoiceMatters.com again stresses that these are just potential scenarios and stresses that the nature of the event which prompted Sighten to now be designated a competitive affiliate of Lone Star is unknown
Under Lone Star Transmission, LLC's code of conduct, the term "competitive affiliate" means, "An affiliate of Lone Star that provides services or sells products in a competitive energy-related market in the State of Texas, including telecommunications services, to the extent those services are energy related."
Other competitive affiliates of Lone Star Transmission include retail electric providers Gexa and Frontier Utilities, LLC, and brokers Power Wizard, LLC; Usource, LLC; and Premier Power Solutions, LLC.
