Duquesne Light Files New Default Supply Rates, Medium C&I Rate Increasing 25%

Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC the default service supply rates for the period beginning December 1, 2020
The default service supply rate, or supply charge, reflects generation supply only, unlike the official Prices to Compare which also reflect transmission and the state tax adjustment surcharge. Official new PTCs have not yet been posted
The supply charge for Residential (Rate Schedules RS, RH and RA) customers will be 5.1994¢/kWh for the period December 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021, versus the current rate of 5.2428¢/kWh
The supply charge for Small Commercial & Industrial customers (<25 kW, Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH and Rate Schedule UMS) will be 5.0497¢/kWh for the period December 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021, versus the current rate of 5.0182¢/kWh
The supply charge for Medium Commercial & Industrial customers (25-200 kW, Rate Schedules GM and GMH) will be 5.0040¢/kWh for the period December 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021, about 25% higher than the current rate of 4.0476¢/kWh
