Regulator To Hold Hearing On Proposed New Retail Supplier Marketing Rules, Draft Order
The following story is brought free of charge to readers by EC Infosystems, the exclusive EDI provider of EnergyChoiceMatters.com
The Connecticut PURA will hold a hearing on its previously reported proposed decision concerning new retail electric supplier marketing rules in Docket 14-07-20RE01
PURA will hold a public hearing on February 20
"The limited purpose of the hearing is to allow all parties an opportunity to offer evidence regarding any evidence and analysis the Authority relied on in establishing the marketing standards set forth in the Proposed Final Decision," PURA said
As previously reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com, the proposed decision would, among other things:
• Require retail suppliers to record the entirety of all door-to-door and telemarketing sales
• Require suppliers to disclose default service rate in the sales process & TPV
• Require suppliers to seek PURA approval for contract assignments (book sales, etc.)
