Update: PECO Posts Prices To Compare For March 1, PTCs Falling

PECO has posted actual Prices To Compare for the period beginning March 1, 2020
EnergyChoiceMatters.com had first reported last week PECO's new electric Generation Supply Adjustment (GSA) charges for the period beginning March 1, 2020. The GSA (labeled generation charge) is the largest component of the Price to Compare (PTC). The PTC also includes the transmission charge; new PTCs have not yet been posted. At that time, the new PTCs had not yet been posted
For residential customers (R, RH), PECO's PTC effective March 1 will be 6.595¢/kWh, versus the current 6.737¢/kWh
For General Service (GS) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective March 1 will be 6.043¢/kWh, about 6% lower than the current 6.446¢/kWh
For Primary - Distribution Power (PD) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective March 1 will be 5.846¢/kWh, about 6% lower than the current 6.242¢/kWh
For High - Tension Power (HT) customers at or under 100 kW, PECO's PTC effective March 1 will be 5.629¢/kWh, about 6% lower than the current 6.007¢/kWh
The new PTCs are to be effective March 1, 2020 through May 31, 2020. The rates remain subject to PUC approval
