Most FirstEnergy-PA Prices To Compare To Fall In September
The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed residential PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting September 1, 2017
The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS), which is currently 0%.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.995¢/kWh effective September 1, a decrease from the current 6.018¢/kWh
At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.383¢/kWh effective September 1, a 13% decrease from the current 6.192¢/kWh
At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.289¢/kWh effective September 1, a 5% decrease versus the current 6.602¢/kWh
At Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 5.956¢/kWh effective September 1, an 11% decrease versus the current 6.674¢/kWh
At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 5.863¢/kWh effective September 1, a 13% decrease from the current 6.703¢/kWh
At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 5.727¢/kWh effective September 1, a decrease from the current 5.795¢/kWh
At West Penn Power, the commercial residential PTCDefault rate will be 4.787¢/kWh effective September 1, a 40% decrease versus the current 7.917¢/kWh
At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.456¢/kWh effective September 1, a 16% increase versus the current 6.415¢/kWh
