Hess Small Business Services Seeks Electric License in New State
Hess Small Business Services, LLC has applied for an Ohio electric supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Corporate parent Hess Corporation is already a licensed electric supplier in Ohio. Both entities are also licensed gas suppliers in Ohio.
Maryland PSC Denies Retail Supplier Applications Without Prejudice
The Maryland PSC denied, at this time and without prejudice, the natural gas and electric supplier applications of Hiko Energy, LLC, after expressing concern about customer complaints in other jurisdictions. The PSC directed that any re-filing of an application must contain an additional six months of complaint data from the other states in which the company operates, starting from July 3, 2012.
Telco Pros, Inc. Receives License in New State
The Maryland PSC granted Telco Pros, Inc. an electric broker license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers. A letter order states that the PSC did not approve the use of the trade name "Non-Profit Energy Corporation" [sic, Telco Pros uses the d/b/a Non Profit Efficiency Corporation elsewhere], and Telco Pros, Inc. has agreed not to use that trade name in Maryland.
Unified Energy Alliance Receives License in New State
The Maryland PSC granted Unified Energy Alliance an electric broker license to serve residential, commercial and industrial customers.
