Direct Energy Business Enters New Territories

Direct Energy Business is entering the Ohio Edison, Toledo Edison, and Cleveland Electric Illuminating territories to serve commercial and industrial customers.
Direct Energy Business will offer commercial and industrial electricity customers a suite of fixed and index products.
"Ohio has a presence in competitive energy markets, with the supportive efforts of legislators and utility regulators," said Mike Senff, Vice President North American Sales and Marketing for Direct Energy Business. "We are committed to providing customers across North America with competitive energy choices and are thrilled to be extending our Ohio presence."
Direct Energy Business also offers electric service at AEP Ohio, Duke Energy Ohio, and Dayton Power & Light, and gas service at Columbia Gas of Ohio and Dominion East Ohio (East & West).
Other Direct Energy companies offer gas (all territories) and electricity (Duke Energy Ohio) to residential and mass market customers in Ohio, while Direct's home services businesses Airtron, Clockwork, and Willis Heating & Air are also active in Ohio.
