The DC Project Seeks Maryland Broker License
The DC Project, Inc. filed for a license to supply electricity or electric generation services in Maryland. A copy of the application was not immediately available, but based on The DC Project's operations in the District of Columbia, it is reasonable to expect that the application is for broker/aggregator authority.
Clarity Energy Consulting Seeks Ohio Broker License
Clarity Energy Consulting LLC applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. Clarity Energy Consulting is active in the ERCOT market and in natural gas brokering in Colorado, Michigan, and Kansas. Clarity Energy Consulting is led by COO Pat Fulps, former business development manager at Direct Energy and energy marketing manager at Reliant. Aside from Fulps, Clarity Energy Consulting's other principals have held various roles at Lone Star Business Solutions, the shared service business which serves several restaurants and other businesses owned by Lone Star Funds.
TES Energy Services Receives Expanded Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted TES Energy Services, LP an amended electric broker license to directly serve residential customers and commercial customers under 25 kW in all service areas. Previously, TES Energy Services had been authorized to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers.
Energy Professionals, LLC Receives Ohio Gas Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Energy Professionals, LLC a natural gas broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (10/14).
