Maine PUC Sets BHE Large Customer Standard Offer Rate

The Maine PUC has set a Standard Offer price for the Bangor Hydro-Electric large non-residential customer class for the month of October 2011.

The BHE large non-residential Standard Offer rate was set at $0.07064/kWh for October 2011.

As previously reported (see 8/15), the PUC is setting the BHE rates on a monthly basis after rejecting proposals for six-month contracts for supplies.

The adopted rate of $0.07064/kWh for October 2011 compares to the PUC's prior "indicative" October rate of $0.0700/kWh.
