U.S. Gas & Electric Launches Pennsylvania Electric Service

U.S. Gas & Electric is now offering residential electricity supply at PECO and Pike County Light & Power.
As only reported by Matters, the Pennsylvania electric market was one of nine new markets USG&E said that it will enter in the next 12 months (see 8/25).
Marketing as Pennsylvania Gas & Electric, USG&E is offering PECO Rate R customers a variable product currently priced at 10.026 cents per kWh, on PA Power Switch.
At Pike County Light & Power, USG&E is offering customers a variable product current priced at 7.298 cents per kWh, on PA Power Switch.
Residential electric service from USG&E is not yet listed for any other area on PA Power Switch.
Pennsylvania Gas & Electric's website does not yet appear to offer residential electric enrollment for PECO, Pike County, or any other area, although customers can fill out a form to receive a quote for service at PECO or Pike County.
USG&E's website does offer online residential enrollments for natural gas service at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and National Fuel Gas Distribution.
USG&E's residential gas product in Pennsylvania is a monthly variable rate which offers a 12% rebate on the highest month's supply charge after 12 months of service.
