PJM Seeks to Reduce Time Board Members Are Removed from Market Participant
PJM filed revisions to its Operating Agreement at FERC to reduce the number of years that a member of the PJM Board must be removed from his or her prior position as a director, officer, or employee of a PJM Member or of an Affiliate or Related Party of a PJM Member, from five years to two years, before he or she can be elected to the PJM Board. PJM said that it and its members, "desire to make this change because the current five year waiting period has limited PJM's ability to identify Board members with experience in current industry issues specific to the PJM region."
