N.H. PUC Approves New Default Service Rates at Granite State Electric

The New Hampshire PUC approved new default service rates for both large and mass market default service customers at Granite State Electric Company (National Grid) for the period beginning November 1, 2011.
For residential and small commercial customers (Small Customer Group), the new default service rate applies from November 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012. Dominion Energy Marketing, Inc. was awarded a contract to supply 100% of Small Customer Group requirements from November 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012.
The default service rate for the Small Customer Group will be 7.746 cents per kWh for the period November 2011 through April 2012. The rate includes the base energy rate plus adjustments for reconciliation and reclassification and the RPS adder.
For medium and large commercial and industrial customers (Large Customer Group), new default service rates are for the three-month period beginning November 1, 2011. Hess Corporation was selected to provide 100% of Large Customer Group requirements during this three-month period.
