Illinois Posts New Prices to Compare for ComEd, Ameren

The Illinois Commerce Commission has published new Prices to Compare for customers at Commonwealth Edison and Ameren.

The prices are for the period October 2011 through May 2012.

ComEd's new residential, non-space heating Price to Compare is 7.753 cents per kWh.

Ameren's new residential, non-space heating Prices to Compare are as follows (cents per kWh):

Rate Zone I: 6.685

Rate Zone I, Metro East
First 800kWh: 6.685
Usage above 800kWh: 2.652

Rate Zone II
First 800kWh: 6.636
Usage above 800kWh: 4.468

Rate Zone III: 6.368

For ComEd space heating customers, the Price to Compare is 5.086 cents per kWh.

The Ameren space heating Prices to Compare are:

Rate Zone I
First 800kWh: 6.685
Usage above 800kWh: 4.062

Rate Zone III
First 800kWh: 6.368
Usage above 800kWh: 2.516
