GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions Seeks N.Y. License, to Use Trade Name Think Energy
GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions, LLC will use the trade name Think Energy, at least in the State of New York. The disclosure came as GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions filed a Retail Access Application Form to become an ESCO. As only reported by Matters, GDF Suez Retail Energy Solutions is a new subsidiary of GDF Suez Energy Resources NA formed to serve small volume electric customers (see 7/27).
Constellation Seeks to Serve Md. Residential Gas Customers Under NewEnergy License
Constellation NewEnergy-Gas Division, LLC applied for an amendment to its Maryland natural gas supplier license to include service to residential customers throughout Maryland. Currently, Constellation NewEnergy-Gas Division may serve commercial and industrial customers in all service areas. Affiliate BGE Home is currently authorized to serve residential customers.
Ohio Manufacturers' Association Subsidiary Receives Aggregator License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted OMA Service Corporation, a subsidiary of The Ohio Manufacturers' Association, an electric aggregator/broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/12). OMA Service Corporation intends to aggregate its members after a survey found substantial interest and sufficient electricity load to proceed with an aggregation/pooling program.
Ohio Hospital Association Receives Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Ohio Healthcare Purchasing, Inc., d/b/a OHA Solutions, Inc. and The Ohio Hospital Association, an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (8/19). The Ohio Hospital Association currently has 165 Ohio hospital members and 16 Ohio health system members
