Ambit Energy Receives Connecticut Electric License
The Connecticut PURA granted Ambit Northeast, LLC d/b/a Ambit Energy an electric supplier license to serve residential and commercial customers. The application was first reported by Matters in June (6/24).
Trimen Energy Seeks Conn. Aggregator License
Start-up Trimen Energy, LLC applied for a Connecticut electric aggregator certificate to serve residential and commercial customers. Trimen Energy is an affiliate of Active Telephones Inc., a communications and energy management provider serving the hospitality industry, and Trimen Group, LLC, which is a private equity firm with experience in wealth management, real estate, hospitality, web start-ups, import/export, energy consulting, and energy management product manufacturing. Trimen Energy said that it intends to acquire a pool of commercial electric customers operating mainly in the hospitality industry. The controlling members of Trimen Energy, LLC are Arpan Patel, Director of Business Development, and Benjamin Cuozzo, Director of Sales. Patel is Founder and Director of Venture Development of the Trimen Group. Cuozzo has held various sales positions at Aflac New York and GEOX.
Resident Power Seeks Maine Aggregator License
Resident Power Natural Gas & Electric Solutions, LLC applied for a Maine electric aggregator/broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Resident Power is an affiliate of Freedom Energy Logistics and Halifax American Energy.
Keytex Energy Solutions Receives Ohio Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Keytex Energy Solutions, LLC an electric broker/aggregator license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers. The application was first reported in Matters (8/12).
