Matters has also compiled a comparison of the migration levels from the 9/14/11 to the 9/7/11 Report. The 9/7/11 Report did not contain updated data for PPL and the FirstEnergy EDCs, and for those utilities, Matters' comparison linked below compares the migration change over a two-week period.

From Aug. 28 through Sept. 10, PPL saw migrated residential accounts decrease by 2,583. Averaging the loss over a two-week period, that's a slightly slower decline than the loss of 1,600 migrated residential accounts from Aug. 21 to Aug. 27.
This decline in PPL residential migration, most of which is likely due to the previously reported return of certain Dominion Retail customers to default service, has resulted in PPL falling back under the 40% threshold for residential accounts migrated (with the percent now at 39.9%).
At PECO, where weekly growth data is available, residential migration increased by 2,900 accounts from Sept. 7 to Sept. 13, up from growth of 1,700 in the immediately prior week (which included the holiday), and about even with the growth from two weeks ago (in which there was no holiday affecting meter reads).
At West Penn Power, residential migration growth over the most recent two-week period was nearly 6,700. Averaging this growth over a two-week period, that's slightly slower than the weekly growth rate of 4,300 from Aug. 25 to Aug. 31.
At Penelec, residential migration growth over the most recent two-week period was nearly 5,300. Averaging this growth over a two-week period, that's slightly higher than the weekly growth rate of 2,000 from Aug. 25 to Aug. 31.
Duquesne Light has seen weekly residential migration growth approach 1,000 customers again (at 869), after several weeks of residential migration growth in the range of 500 accounts.
