The New Jersey BPU has posted electric migration statistics for the month of July 2011.

The BPU's stats may be found here and include accounts and load migrated.

A comparison by Matters of accounts migrated in July 2011 versus June 2011 can be found here.

From June to July, PSE&G saw residential migration increase by 7,300 accounts, up from monthly growth of 6,800 from May to June.

At Jersey Central Power & Light, residential migration growth from June to July was 5,500 accounts, down from 7,200 accounts from May to June.

Atlantic City Electric saw the monthly migration growth in residential accounts increase slightly to 3,000 accounts from June to July, versus 2,700 from May to June.

Also notable is the sharp increase in monthly migration in the under 500 kW class at both PSE&G and JCPL, which had both seen less than 1,000 new accounts migrate to competitive supply in that class from May to June. However, from June to July, PSE&G saw 4,000 new under 500 kW shoppers, and JCPL saw nearly 2,100 new under 500 kW shoppers.

As a percentage of total residential accounts, migration for the month of July 2011 was as follows:

Atlantic City Electric: 11.9%

Jersey Central Power & Light: 10.9%

Public Service Electric & Gas: 6.6%

Rockland Electric: 4.9%
