Most notable is the first appreciable residential migration at Columbus Southern Power, with nearly 6,000 newly migrated residential accounts versus March 31, 2011.
Duke Energy Ohio, which as noted by Matters has seven active residential suppliers, saw residential migration growth of 8,000 accounts since March 31, 2011.
Although residential growth was much smaller at Dayton Power & Light and Ohio Power (169 and 578 accounts, respectively), the growth is significant because previous residential migration did not exceed three dozen accounts in either territory.
Commercial migration at Columbus Southern Power nearly doubled during the quarter, to about 12,000 accounts (which is 15% of customers).
