Energy Initiatives Inc. Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Energy Initiatives Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes at PECO, PPL, Met Ed, and UGI. Energy Initiatives Inc. is an affiliate of Mid Atlantic Power Partners. The application was first reported by Matters (6/17).
Ohio Manufacturers' Association Subsidiary Seeks Ohio Aggregator License
OMA Service Corporation, a subsidiary of The Ohio Manufacturers' Association, applied for an Ohio electric aggregator/broker license to serve commercial, mercantile, and industrial customers in all service areas. OMA Service Corporation intends to aggregate its members after a survey found substantial interest and sufficient electricity load to proceed with an aggregation/pooling program. OMA Service Corporation previously held an aggregator license, but did not renew it upon expiration in 2005 as its aggregation program had ceased by that time. Previously, OMA Service Corporation relied on the E Group to advise the aggregation.

The Delaware PSC granted Commercial Utility Consultants, Inc. an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
