Integrys Energy Services Reports Illinois Customer Growth, Officially Announces Ameren Residential Service

Integrys Energy Services has signed up nearly 20,000 Illinois electric customers since entering the residential market in early April, Brian Bowe, Illinois Direct Mass Market Manager, said as Integrys Energy Services officially launched its residential offers at Ameren.

Integrys Energy Services' residential products at Ameren were first reported by Matters (see 6/27).

Integrys Energy Services is offering residential customers a fixed rate of 5.182 cents per kWh for 12 billing cycles in all three of Ameren's rate zones.

The product includes an early termination fee of $50.

Additionally, Integrys Energy Services is offering business customers in Delivery Service Rate Class DS-2 a fixed rate of 6.600 cents per kWh in all three rate zones.

The DS-2 early termination fee is equal to (a) the average monthly usage in kilowatt-hours applicable to each account, multiplied by (b) the number of billing cycles remaining in the initial term, multiplied by (c) 0.5 cents per kWh.

As at ComEd, EverBright Energy will broker Ameren mass market customers for Integrys Energy Services through EverBright's online portal.

Integrys Energy Services will use utility consolidated billing for both the residential and DS-2 products
