Constellation Energy Offering Residential Electricity at Ameren

Constellation Energy has begun offering residential electricity supply at Ameren.

Constellation's expansion of its Illinois license to include small volume customers at Ameren was first reported by Matters (6/23).

Constellation is offering residential customers at Ameren a 12 and 24-month fixed product with pricing uniform across all rate zones as follows:

12 Months Fixed: 5.64 cents per kWh

24 Months Fixed: 5.59 cents per kWh

The products are designed for customers on Ameren Rate BGS Residential - Non-Electric Space Heating.

The offers are not listed on the PlugIn Illinois site.

The products include an early termination fee of $150, which is waived if the customer cancels within the first 90 days of the contract.

Constellation will use utility consolidated billing for residential customers at Ameren.
