Public Power of Illinois Seeks Illinois License
Public Power of Illinois, LLC applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, at ComEd and Ameren. Public Power of Illinois, LLC is subsidiary of Public Power, LLC, which serves nearly 100,000 residential, small commercial, and large commercial customers across seven states.
Avalon Energy Services Seeks Ohio Broker License
Avalon Energy Services, LLC applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. In particular, Avalon Energy Services said that it intends to focus on advising governmental aggregation groups. Avalon Energy Services, which is active in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia, said that it is also seeking a New Jersey broker license. As previously reported (7/13/09), Avalon's leadership includes former Pepco Energy Services CFO and Columbia Energy Group Vice President James McDonnell.
Asset Energy, LLC Receives Ohio Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Asset Energy, LLC an electric broker/aggregator license to serve all customer classes in all service areas, though it intends to focus on commercial and industrial customers at Duke Energy Ohio.
Utility Savings Solutions Receives Maryland Broker License
The Maryland PSC granted Utility Savings Solutions, LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
