Twin Eagle Resource Management Seeks Illinois License, Pennsylvania On Tap

TERM Power & Gas, LLC, a unit of Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC, applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license.
TERM Power & Gas, which will also use the trade name TERM Energy, sought authority to serve all classes of customers, including residential customers, at Commonwealth Edison, Ameren, MidAmerican Energy Company, Electric Energy, and Mt. Carmel Public Utility
In seeking a Texas REP certificate (5/11), parent Twin Eagle Resource Management indicated that it would pursue residential and commercial & industrial sales at the retail level.
Additionally, TERM Power & Gas said in its Illinois application that, during the pendency of the application, it expects to also file for an electric generation supplier license in Pennsylvania.
In Illinois, TERM Power & Gas also sought authority to provide single billing services at ComEd.
Twin Eagle Resource Management is led by several former directors, executives, and principals from Champion Energy Services, Eagle Energy Partners, and Dynegy, including Twin Eagle President, CEO, and co-founder Griff Jones; Twin Eagle Chairman and co-founder Chuck Watson; Twin Eagle CFO and EVP Rob Doty, and Twin Eagle Vice President of Power Origination Kim Casey.
An LS Power subsidiary recently made a minority equity investment in Twin Eagle Resource Management.
Twin Eagle Resource Management is active in ERCOT and several FERC-jurisdictional organized wholesale markets, in optimization and trading, transmission rights management, and operations and risk management. As of May, Twin Eagle managed more than 2,000 MW in ERCOT on behalf of its clients, and is a Level 3 QSE. It also offers a variety of marketing and optimization services in the wholesale natural gas market.
