Kratos Gas and Power Now Serving Residential Customers in Ohio

Kratos Gas and Power, a division of United Energy Trading, has launched natural gas offers at the Dominion East Ohio territory.

Currently, only a variable rate is offered to residential customers. Current base pricing is $5.27 per mcf, which results in a total supply price (including the Dominion East Ohio Total Usage Based Charge) of $6.74720 per mcf.

Kratos is offering the same monthly variable base pricing to small commercial customers.

Service is not offered outside of Dominion East Ohio at this time.

Kratos' entry into the Ohio market was first reported by Matters (12/27). United Energy Trading, which describes itself as the second largest privately held gas marketer in the U.S., is currently active in the California retail gas choice market under the name Blue Spruce Energy Services, and serves large volume customers across the U.S.

United Energy Trading moves 1.5 billion cubic feet of natural gas daily.
