Castlebridge Energy Group Receives Pennsylvania Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Castlebridge Energy Group, LLC an electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, at PECO.
Grocery Procurement Cooperative TopSource, LLC Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Topco Associates d/b/a TopSource, LLC an electric broker/marketer license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW in all service areas. As only reported in Matters (5/18), the Pennsylvania license is part of a larger, multi-state expansion of TopSource LLC, the not-for-resale procurement arm of grocer cooperative Topco Associates LLC, into the procurement of competitive electricity. Topco Associates LLC said that it is the largest cooperative buying organization in retail food, with over 50 member supermarkets and distributors (including notably, with significant Pennsylvania locations, Weis Markets, Inc., Giant Eagle, Inc., Tops Markets, LLC, Price Chopper, and Wegmans Food Markets, Inc.).
GearyEnergy Receives Amended Pa. License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted GearyEnergy, LLC an amended electric generation supplier license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas. The amendment application was first reported in Matters (5/10). GearyEnergy is currently licensed to serve those customer classes at Met-Ed.
Constellation Receives Amended Pa. License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Constellation NewEnergy-Gas Division, LLC an amended gas supplier license to include service to all sizes of non-residential customers at UGI Central Penn Gas, UGI Penn Natural Gas, and Valley Energy. The amendment application was first reported in Matters (4/18). Constellation was previously licensed to serve customers at Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Inc., National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, UGI Utilities, Inc., Equitable Gas Company, T. W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company, Peoples Natural Gas Company, Philadelphia Gas Works, and PECO Energy Company.
Advantage IQ Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Advantage IQ, Inc. an electric broker/marketer license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas, and, in mixed meter situations only, residential and small commercial customers. The application was first reported by Matters (4/6).
