Viridian Reports Maryland Customer Count, Growth

As of May 31, 2011, Viridian Energy was serving 27,114 active electric customers in Maryland, according a compliance report filed with the PSC.

This compares to 26,726 active electric customers as of April 30, 2011, or a net gain of 388.

The net gain of 388 customers was based on gross enrollments of 1,191.

At BGE, Viridian was serving 18,259 customers as of May 31, 2011, versus 17,979 as of April 30.

Gross enrollments at BGE during May were 799.

At Pepco, Viridian was serving 8,855 customers as of May 31, 2011, versus 8,747 as of April 30.

Gross enrollments at Pepco during May were 392.

Viridian said that it had 3,074 active independent associates in Maryland as of May 31.
