Reliant Energy Seeks Amendment to Illinois License
Reliant Energy Northeast LLC applied for an amendment to its Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license. A copy of the application was not immediately available. Reliant's current license allows it to supply non-residential customers with annual usage in excess of 15,000 kWh at Commonwealth Edison only. As first reported in Matters, Reliant has expanded its supplier licenses to include residential service in several PJM markets, and has commenced residential service in Maryland and New Jersey (5/26). Reliant's website also says it is "expanding" to serve residential customers in Pennsylvania as well, where it recently received an amended license.
The Energy Link Seeks Pa. Broker License
The Energy Link, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania electric broker/marketer license to serve all customer classes at PECO and Duquesne Light.
Blue & Silver Energy Consulting Seeks Ohio Broker License
Blue & Silver Energy Consulting, LLC d/b/a Pro-Star Energy Services applied for an Ohio electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. Blue & Silver Energy Consulting said it is in the process of completing registration requirements in Illinois and New Jersey as well.
Power Management Co. Receives Illinois ABC License
The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Power Management Co., LLC an electric agent, broker, and consultant license.
Utility Service Consultants Receives Illinois ABC License
The Illinois Commerce Commission granted Utility Service Consultants (a trade name for sole proprietor Donald Mulder) an electric agent, broker, and consultant license.
