PUCT Publishes Draft Prepaid Disclosure Statement for Comment
The PUCT voted to publish for comment without modification Staff's draft prepaid disclosure statement (39357, 6/13). Though not making any modifications for publication, Commissioner Donna Nelson said that she would like to address the issue of TDU fees listed on the statement prior to adoption. Nelson said that the prepaid disclosure statement requires the disclosure of TDU fees not required on the Electricity Facts Label, which may confuse customers. Commissioner Kenneth Anderson stressed the need for TDU charges related to service initiation to be disclosed, so that customers are aware of how quickly their initial balance will be consumed.
PUCT Grants REPs' Clarification on Effective Date of New CenterPoint Rates
The PUCT approved a rehearing order in CenterPoint Energy's most recent rate case (38339, 2/4) that, among other things, grants the REP Coalition's request to clarify that the rate changes shall take effect 30 days following approval of filed compliance tariff sheets.
PUCT Revises Date for Entergy Texas-MISO Workshop
The PUCT has revised the date for its workshop on Entergy Texas' proposal to join the Midwest ISO to July 28.
Md. PSC Staff Timeline Contemplates Pilot Proposal on EV Charging by Feb. 2012
A Maryland PSC Staff proposed timeline in the Electric Vehicle Charging Working Group contemplates that a pilot program report shall be filed in February 2012, followed by hearings, with a pilot program to be established in June 2013.
