N.Y. PSC Posts Updated Electric Migration Data

The New York PSC has posted updated electric migration stats for the month of April 2011 as well as several earlier months.

Previously, the most recent stats available were from December 2010.

Residential migration as a percent of accounts for April 2011 was:
Central Hudson: 6.7%
Consolidated Edison: 19.3%
Niagara Mohawk: 18.2%
NYSEG: 22.9%
Orange & Rockland: 33.1%
Rochester Gas & Electric: 23.6%

Most gains in residential migration were incremental since December 2010. Net growth in residential accounts was approximately:
Central Hudson: +1,500
Consolidated Edison: +7,300
Niagara Mohawk: (2,000)
NYSEG: +9,700
Orange & Rockland: +2,900
Rochester Gas & Electric: +4,300
