Illinois Posts Official Prices to Compare

The Illinois Commerce Commission has posted official Price to Compare information through September 2011.
The individual Price to Compare components for both Commonwealth Edison (5/24) and Ameren (5/27) were first reported in Matters last month. The Illinois price to compare includes the Electric Supply Charge and Transmission Services Charge, but excludes the reconciliation factor.
ComEd's residential non-space heating Price to Compare, effective June 2011 through September 2011, is 7.921 cents per kWh. The ComEd residential space heating Price to Compare is 6.457 cents per kWh for the same period.
From June 2011 through September 2011, the residential Price to Compare at Ameren is as follows:
Ameren Rate Zone I: 5.673 cents per kWh
Ameren Rate Zone II: 5.635 cents per kWh
Ameren Rate Zone III: 5.646 cents per kWh
