Cirro Energy Acquires Customers of Simple Power

Chain Lakes Power Company, L.P., which marketed as Simple Power, has sold and transferred all of its customers to Cirro Energy.

Simple Power's customer book was entirely within ERCOT. The sale and customer transfer was consummated effective May 9.

Simple Power customer contracts are unchanged, and Cirro is offering to renew customers on a lower fixed Cirro plan at anytime.

Simple Power had been offering a refer a friend program, providing both the referrer and referral $25 each.

In an FAQ about the acquisition, Cirro states that it does not have a refer a friend program at this time, but is, "currently evaluating a referral program."

Cirro is a unit of Dominion Retail.
