True Electric Confirms Purchase of Milagro Assets

True Electric LLC informed the PUCT that, "the assets of Milagro Electric have been purchased," in a letter regarding its application for a REP certificate amendment to add the trade name Milagro to the certificate. The letter confirms the acquisition, which had been apparent but not corroborated based on the earlier certificate amendment application (see 5/17).

Stream Energy Leads Retail Suppliers in Direct Selling Rankings

Stream Energy led retail energy suppliers listed in the Top 100 Direct Selling Companies in the World as ranked by Direct Selling News. Stream's marketing arm Ignite was ranked 14th in the international ranking. Stream Energy generated more than $840 million in revenues in 2010 and has more than 484,000 customers in the deregulated energy markets of four states (Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Maryland). In the last eight months, Stream has signed up more than 75,000 customers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Other notables in the Direct Selling rankings include ACN at #20, and Ambit Energy at #31.
