Duquesne Light Files Updated Non-Residential Generation Rates

Duquesne Light has filed updated generation rates for commercial and industrial customers for the period beginning June 1.

The rates, which are not official Prices to Compare, apply to Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH.

For customers in these classes with demands under 25 kW, the default service supply rate (Rider 8) will be 5.6953 cents per kWh for the period June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.

For customers in these classes with demands equal to or greater than 25 kW, the default service supply rate (Rider 8) will be 5.6471 cents per kWh for the period June 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011.

While not official Prices to Compare, the rates do include the following: energy, capacity, transmission and distribution line losses, congestion and congestion management costs, Alternative Energy Credits, and other such services or products that are required to provide default service to the company's commercial and industrial customers.
