ComEd Posts Generation Rates for Period Beginning June 1, 2011

Commonwealth Edison has posted generation rates for the 12-month period beginning June 1, 2011.
ComEd's Purchased Electricity Charges, which appear on the bill as the Electricity Supply Charge, are bellow. The Purchased Electricity Charges are essentially base generation, and do not include the Transmission Services Charge and the Purchased Electricity Adjustment Factor (reconciliation) which must be added to obtain the full bypassable price to compare.

ComEd also filed updated PJM Services Charges for the period June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012. These PJM Services Charges appear as the Transmission Services Charge on retail bills:

For the month of June 2011, ComEd filed a Purchased Electricity Adjustment Factor reflecting a charge of 0.324 cents/kWh.
For hourly pricing customers, ComEd filed the following capacity charges applicable from June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012.
Daily Capacity Charge (DCC): $0.12650/kW-Day
Monthly Capacity Charge (MCC): $3.56628/kW-Month
