Infinite Energy Seeks Authority to Offer Prepaid Service at AGL

Infinite Energy will offer a prepaid natural gas product to customers in Georgia, and has asked for necessary waivers of the administrative rules required to offer prepaid service.

Specifically, Infinite sought a waiver of Commission Rules 515-3-3-.01(e) and 515-7-6-.02(a)(4) exclusively in regards to those customers who voluntarily choose the company's prepay natural gas service. These rules relate to billing and disconnection.

Specific terms of Infinite's prepay product were filed under seal.

Retail suppliers offering prepaid service at Atlanta Gas Light include Fireside Natural Gas, Georgia Natural Gas (SouthStar), and Gas South. As only noted in Matters, Scana Energy Marketing has a pending application for various waivers in order to offer prepaid service as well (3/18).
