Wolverine Alternative Investments Seeks Texas REP Certificate

Wolverine Alternative Investments, LLC has applied for a Texas REP certificate.
Wolverine Alternative Investments was a joint owner of MC Squared Energy Services until MC Squared's recent sale to DPL Inc. Wolverine Alternative Investments is also a provider of various wholesale electricity and risk management services in PJM, NEPOOL, and the Midwest ISO.
Ethan Kahn leads Wolverine Alternative Investments as principal. Kahn has over 20 years of experience in trading and risk management of commodity derivatives, including six years in electricity trading and risk management.
Chad Starnes serves as Director of Operations of electivity trading at Wolverine Trading, an affiliate of Wolverine Alternative Investments. At Wolverine, Starnes manages Financial Transmission Rights, retail energy portfolios, virtual bids, and power plant strategies in several FERC-jurisdictional markets. Starnes previously held positions at Gulf States Energy, TXU Energy Trading, and Enron.
Rob Kristufek is a trader and risk manager at Wolverine Trading, and has held various positions, including management and executive level posts, at TXU Energy, Quiet Light Trading, Hafslund Energy, Avista Energy, and El Paso Energy Trading.
Wolverine Alternative Investments will rely on Border Energy Electric Services, Inc. for EDI services.
