Joseph Waldman Named COO of Viridian Energy

Viridian Energy has named Joseph Waldman as chief operating officer.

Waldman previously held executive positions with MXenergy and Gateway Energy Services Corporation, where he established infrastructure to handle growing customer bases, including customer service systems; set policies and procedures that facilitated reentry into closed markets; and reduced debt while driving company revenues.

Viridian said that Waldman's deep background in developing company operations for new market expansion will aid Viridian as it continues to expand into new retail markets with different operational structures.

As COO, Waldman's primary focus will be continually improving the overall flow of customer operations, as well as maintaining the integrity of the data generated. In this role, Waldman is also responsible for all aspects of customer accounts including customer service, enrollments, billing, and collections.

Waldman joins Viridian with more than 15 years of experience in operations, including eight years in retail energy operations and management.
