Constellation NewEnergy Seeks Authority to Serve Residential Customers at Ameren
Constellation NewEnergy, Inc. applied for an amendment to its Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license in order to serve residential and small commercial customers at Ameren. Constellation currently has authority at Ameren to serve customers with annual usage in excess of 15,000 kWh, and also currently has authority to serve all customer classes at ComEd (where it is active in the residential market).
Energy Plus Holdings, LLC Receives D. C. Electric License
The District of Columbia PSC granted Energy Plus Holdings, LLC an electric supplier license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The application was first reported by Matters (3/28).
Energy Services Providers Inc. Receives Pennsylvania Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Energy Services Providers Inc. an electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. A written order was not immediately available indicating how the PUC adjudicated Staff's initial objection to ESPI's request to use the trade name Pennsylvania Gas & Electric (see 3/11).
Texas Retail Energy Receives Pennsylvania Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Texas Retail Energy LLC an electric generation supplier license to serve affiliated Wal-Mart stores and related properties in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (3/24).
Sustainable Star Receives Pennsylvania Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Sustainable Star LLC an electric broker license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas. The application was first reported by Matters (3/24).
