Reliant Receives Authority to Serve Residential Customers in Maryland
The Maryland PSC this morning granted Reliant Energy's application to expand its electric license to include authority to serve residential customers. The application was first reported by Matters, and Reliant is seeking similar residential authority in other states including Pennsylvania (4/4).
Foster Energy Services Receives Ohio Gas License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Foster Energy Services, LLC d/b/a My Choice Energy a natural gas supplier license to serve all customer classes in all service areas. The application was first reported in Matters (3/29). Though it sought authority to serve all customer classes, Foster Energy Services said that it will concentrate Ohio marketing to commercial and industrial accounts.
Beacon Energy Solutions Seeks Broker License in Maine, Other States
Beacon Energy Solutions applied for a Maine electric broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers at the three investor-owned utilities. Beacon Energy Solutions, active in Massachusetts, is in the process of expanding to the remaining open New England states, as well as New York and Pennsylvania.
Utility Savings Solutions Seeks D.C. Broker License
Utility Savings Solutions LLC applied for a District of Columbia electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
EnergyRebate Registers as N.H. Aggregator
EnergyRebate, Inc. registered as a New Hampshire electric and natural gas aggregator.
