Viridian Energy Seeks Illinois Electric License
Viridian Energy PA LLC has applied for an Illinois alternative retail electric supplier license. A copy of the application was not immediately available, but given Viridian's mass marketing business, it will likely seek to serve all customer classes. Less clear is if it will seek authorization to serve customers at Ameren, or only ComEd.
E Source Companies Fined $10,775, Receive Maryland Broker Licenses
The Maryland PSC fined E Source Companies, LLC $10,775 for brokering natural gas service without the requisite license, and granted E Source Companies, LLC both electric and natural gas broker licenses to serve commercial and industrial customers. E Source had previously acquired Energy Window, and had been operating pursuant to Energy Window's electric broker license, but Energy Window was not licensed as a Maryland gas broker.
TES Energy Services Fined $100, Receives Maryland Broker License
The Maryland PSC fined TES Energy Services, LP $100 for brokering electric service without the requisite license, and granted TES Energy Services an electric broker license to serve residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Prospect Resources Receives Ohio Electric Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Prospect Resources, Inc. an electric broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers in all service areas.
LPB Energy Management Receives Ohio Electric Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted LPB Energy Management (MRDB Holdings LP) an electric broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas.
Hospital Energy Services Receives Ohio Electric Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Hospital Energy Services, LLC an electric broker license to serve mercantile customers in all service areas.
