Reliant Energy to Use 2QuoteItNOW for Broker Portal

Reliant Energy has signed an agreement with 2QuoteItNOW to utilize 2QuoteItNOW's online broker portal to provide real-time quoting capabilities and up-to-date pricing for commercial energy broker partners. "Our new agreement with 2QuoteItNOW will help us expand our broker channel by offering quote, credit and contract in just seconds," said Paul Keene, Reliant Energy Vice President. Aside from real-time, custom pricing, the portal offers automated credit check processing and automated contract generation. 2QuoteItNOW is a subsidiary of 2TurnItON.

First Choice Power Expanding Call Center as Part of Growth Plans

First Choice Power is expanding its customer service to include a new call center to take inbound English and Spanish enrollment calls. Stellar, located in Las Colinas, operates the call center. "Stellar will be taking inbound sales calls as part of First Choice Power's business expansion plans in Texas," said Brian Hayduk, president of First Choice Power. Stellar will begin accepting First Choice Power calls in mid-April to enroll new pre- and post-paid residential and small commercial customers at their call center in Hickory Creek, Texas

Dynegy Names E. Hunter Harrison Interim CEO

Dynegy Inc. named E. Hunter Harrison, currently a Dynegy director, as interim President and Chief Executive Officer. Harrison served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian National Railway Company from January 2003 until December 2009 and as its Chief Operating Officer from 1998 until 2003.
