Hess Seeks Authority to Serve Residential, Small Commercial Customers in Pennsylvania
Hess Corporation applied for an amended Pennsylvania electric generation supplier license to serve residential customers and commercial customers under 25 kW. Hess said that it, "does not anticipate marketing to residential and small C&I customers in the near future." Hess has been expanding its electric and natural gas supply to small businesses in New York and New Jersey since acquiring the book of Stuyvesant Energy.
Planet Energy Receives Pa. Gas License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Planet Energy a natural gas supplier license to serve residential and all sizes of commercial customers at Columbia Gas and PECO. Planet Energy's application was first reported in Matters (12/23)
GearyEnergy Seeks Pa. Electric License
GearyEnergy, LLC applied for a Pennsylvania electric generation supplier license to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers at Met-Ed.
Glacial Natural Gas Seeks to Add Territories in Pa.
Glacial Natural Gas applied for an amendment to its Pennsylvania gas supplier license to expand its authorized territories to include Columbia Gas, National Fuel Gas Distribution, PECO, Peoples Natural Gas, Equitable Gas, UGI Central Penn, Philadelphia Gas Works, and Valley Energy. Glacial Natural Gas is currently authorized to serve all sizes of non-residential customers at UGI Penn Natural Gas and UGI Utilities, Inc.
Patriot Energy Group Receives Delaware Broker License
The Delaware PSC granted Patriot Energy Group, Inc. an electric broker license to serve commercial and industrial customers.
