Planet Energy Receives Pa. Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Planet Energy (Pennsylvania), Corp. an electric generation supplier license to serve residential customers and all sizes of commercial customers in all service areas. Planet Energy's intent to seek a Pennsylvania electric license was first reported in Matters (12/23).
Starion Energy PA Receives Pa. Electric License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Starion Energy PA, Inc. an electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, in all service areas. Starion's application was first reported in Matters (11/19). Vice Chairman Tyrone Christy dissented from the order. Christy did not discuss his dissent during the open meeting, and a written dissent was not issued yesterday.
Luthin Associates Receives Pa. Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Luthin Associates Inc. an electric broker license to serve all sizes of non-residential customers at PECO. Luthin Associates' application was first reported in Matters
Taylor Consulting and Contracting Receives Authority to Serve Pa. Residential Customers
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Taylor Consulting and Contracting, LLC an amended electric broker license to permit Taylor Consulting and Contracting to serve residential customers, in addition to all sizes of non-residential customers, in all service areas. Taylor Consulting and Contracting's application for an amendment was first reported by Matters (1/7).
Premier Power Solutions Receives Authority to Serve Pa. Residential Customers
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Premier Power Solutions, LLC an amended electric broker license to permit Premier Power Solutions to serve residential customers, in addition to all sizes of non-residential customers, in all service areas.
Power Brokers, LLC Receives Pa. Gas Broker License
The Pennsylvania PUC granted Power Brokers, LLC d/b/a PB2 Texas, LLC a natural gas broker license to serve commercial customers with usage of at least 6,000 Mcf annually and industrial customers in all service areas. Power Brokers' application was first reported in Matters (10/21).
Pa. PUC Dismisses Empowered Consulting Broker Application as Deficient
The Pennsylvania PUC denied the electric broker application of Empowered Consulting, Inc. for failure to cure a deficient application. Empowered Consulting had been seeking to serve commercial customers over 25 kW, industrial customers, and governmental customers in all service areas (7/5).
