Hawk Energy Corp. Seeks Pa. Electric License
Hawk Energy Corp. applied for a Pennsylvania electric generation supplier license to serve all customer classes, including residential customers, at PECO, PPL, Duquesne Light, and West Penn Power. The start-up is led by David Mausolf and Gayle Mausolf, who co-founded Phoenix Wireless, a manufacturer and distributor of mobile phone accessories, in 1996.
Online Broker CurrentChoice, Inc. Seeks Illinois License to Serve Residential Customers
CurrentChoice, Inc., which runs an online brokering website and customer switching portal, applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license to serve residential customers, as well as commercial customers. CurrentChoice, Inc. is licensed as a broker in Massachusetts and has pending applications in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Alan Lehmann, President of the start-up, was previously Vice President at Dealertrack, a $240 million provider of software and cloud computing solutions for the auto dealership, banking, and retail industries. Lehmann was previously a Senior Vice President at Fleetboston Financial. Michael D'Angelo, former Director of Regulatory Affairs at Infinite Energy, serves as Regulatory Counsel for CurrentChoice Inc.
