PECO Posts Price to Compare Information for Period Beginning April 1, 2011

PECO has posted updated actual Prices to Compare for average customers for the period April 1, 2011 through June 30, 2011.
For residential Rate Class R Customers, the actual price to compare starting April
1, 2011 is as follows.
Up to 500 kWh 9.99¢
Over 500 kWh: Winter 9.99¢
Over
500 kWh: Summer 11.20¢
The Price to Compare includes base generation, an alternative energy compliance charge, transmission, and an adjustment for Gross Receipts Tax of 6.06%. The summer period is June through September; winter is all other months.
The actual Rate R April Price to Compare compares to a current Price to Compare of 9.92¢/kWh, and an earlier estimate for the period starting April 1 of 10.16¢ (up to 500 kWh and over 500 kWh winter) and 11.40¢ for over 500 kWh during the summer.
For Rate Class GS Under 100 kW (General Service), the actual Price to Compare starting April 1, 2011 is 9.43¢. This compares to a current Price to Compare of 9.47¢ and an earlier estimate of 9.46¢.
For Rate Class GS 100-
For Rate Class PD Under 100 kW (Primary Distribution), the actual Price to Compare starting April 1, 2011 is 9.09¢. This compares to a current Price to Compare of 9.13¢ and an earlier estimate of 9.13¢.
