5Linx Enterprises Seeks Maryland Broker Licenses
5Linx Enterprises, Inc. applied for
Maryland electric and natural gas broker licenses. Copies of the applications were
not immediately available. As only noted in Matters, 5Linx Enterprises is a direct
marketer expanding its product suite to energy, with launch markets including Maryland,
New York, Texas, and California (see 1/17).
Options Energy Consulting Seeks Illinois ABC License
Options Energy Consulting LLC
applied for an Illinois electric agent, broker, and consultant license.
Xencom Green Energy Seeks Ohio Broker License
Xencom Green Energy, LLC applied for
an Ohio electric broker license to serve commercial customers in all service areas.
PUCT Files Final Scope Report
The PUCT filed the final scope of electric competition
report in Project 38264. Final legislative recommendations were consistent with
the Commission's earlier discussions, and include requests for clarified authority
over electric vehicle charging, ability of the Commission to order membership in
an RTO (specifically relating to Entergy), and enhancements to support distributed
renewable generation (but such recommendations do not advocate that the Commission
set the rate to be paid by REPs for excess generation).
