Texpo Power Would Pay $19,000 to Resolve Findings from PUCT Staff Compliance Audit

Texpo Power LP would pay an administrative penalty of $19,000 under a settlement with PUCT Staff to resolve allegations from Staff that Texpo was not in compliance with 10 provisions of the Substantive Rules (39046).
Staff's allegations resulted from a compliance audit.
Among other things, Staff alleged that:
- Texpo did not provide the price of the available product per kWh, contrary to Subst. R. 25.474(d)(5)(D)
- Texpo failed to indicate, during telephone enrollments, the presence or absence of an early termination fee, contrary to 25.474(h)(4)(E)
- Texpo did not indicate the right of rescission in the proper format or how to exercise that right, contrary to Subst. R. 25.474(d)(11)(A)
Texpo corrected all of the deficiencies alleged by Staff prior to entering the settlement.
